Dear bobbers and friends of the bob sport!

The organization of the 2018 event is already in high gear.

In order to design our event the best way and thus attract as many former bobbers as possible, we would like to announce some vital information below. The official announcement will be issued as usual by the end of 2017 via email.

	The event will take place from 01/03/2018 to 03/03/2018 on the bob run in Igls.
	To all teams, especially those from Overseas that do not have access to two-man bobs or which to have more bob runs over a longer period of time, a favorable arrangement for sled rental and accomadation can be offered. The minimum stay is 9 days (Sat, 24/02/2018 – Sun, 04/03/2018) to take advantage of the Hotel Isserwirt special rate below: Isserwirt in Lans Dorfstraße 9 A-6072 Lans (close to Innsbruck) Tel. +43 512 377261 E-Mail: hotel@isserwirt.at They offer a special price of € 65,00 per person/night in a double bedroom for a half-board overnight stay including 1 non alcoholic beverage with dinner. The single supplement is € 12,00 per night. As well, sled rental Kurt Einberger has volunteered to be Ice Coach/Trainer at no extra charge. Kurt was one of the English speaking coaches when the FIBT/IBSF ran bob-schools at Igls. To take advantage of this offer, we must have names and numbers by 01/12/2017.All other competitors names and numbers for the event will be managed according to the announcement.
	Groupings General Pilot and brakesman minimum age of 35 years (appointed date 30.06.2018) and internationally non active in the season of 2017/2018 (EC, WC, EM, WM) Age group 1 Pilot and brakesman minimum age of 45 years, otherwise like general group Age group 2 Pilot and brakesman minimum age of 50 years, otherwise like general group Ladies: Pilot and brakeswoman minimum of 30 years, otherwise like general group New: If needed, there will be a special evaluation for persons above 60 years of age:The pilot has to be seated while starting. The brakesman is allowed to be younger, but has to be at least 35 years of age.
	The ladies teams will not be charged any entry fee. The entry fee for the gents teams are reduced to € 95,-.
	All teams have to provide evidence of possessing a valid private accident insurance. For those who do not have such an insurance or are not sure whether their insurance will cover the costs in an emergency, have the possibility to effect an appropriate insurance with the UNIQUA.
	As within the last few years, the reception will take place on Thursday and the presentaton ceremony on Saturday, both at the Gasthof Isserwirt.
